The 28th International Conference “Krmiva 2023” was organized in Opatija, Croatia which lasted from May 31 to June 2, 2023. At this Conference, Ljubomir Jovanović, PhD, DVM, Assistant Professor (P4), promoted our project entitled: Mitigation of methane production from dairy cattle farm by nutritive modulation of cow`s metabolism – MitiMetCattle, in a frame of a lecture entitled: “The effect of dietary intake on the daily methane emissions determined by a non-invasive method in peak lactating dairy cattle”. The lecture presentation met a good response from the audience and after the presentation there was a discussion primarily related to the methodology of methane determination. Representatives of the academic community as well as commercial manufacturers of supplements for animal nutrition participated in the discussion.
